The Post E-Health platform A secure basis for health data

The Post E-Health platform offers a secure and user-friendly environment in which health data can be managed and exchanged more easily, for example, with doctors and hospitals.

 

As the leading EPR provider, Swiss Post is continuing to refine its range of services and introducing a new technical platform. This will enable Swiss Post to provide new functionalities to the reference communities more quickly in future and integrate them more easily into the EPR environment in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. It will also improve ease of use. The solution is being developed and operated in Switzerland.

What use cases does the EPR offer? Functions that create added value

The Post E-Health platform enables easy integration of a wide range of use cases in combination with the EPR. For example, the vaccination module allows vaccinations to be entered, stored and verified digitally.

 

Future functions such as e-medication, the electronic emergency passport and the e-health record for children will make the EPR even more useful for healthcare provision.

Access points that fit into everyday life App, web or system integration

Specialists can connect their system directly to Swiss Post’s EPR platform, reducing duplication and making day-to-day work more efficient. Alternatively, access through a web portal is also possible.

 

In addition to the web portal, there is also a user-friendly app for citizens, giving them access to their health data anytime and anywhere.
