The operating company Post Sanela Health Ltd operates and offers the electronic patient record (EPR) in 14 cantons. The technological basis for the EPR is the Post E-Health platform.
Open the EPR easily and digitally now – anytime and anywhere
In just three steps, you can open an EPR fully online, anytime and anywhere. As of August 2023, Swiss Post provides this option with its digital self-onboarding service for the EPR (see News). In line with its slogan “Focus on health”, Post Sanela Health AG offers the service to interested cantons, enabling members of the public in participating cantons to receive easy access to the EPR.
A boost for the digitization of the Swiss healthcare system
Swiss Post acquired a majority stake in Post Sanela Health Ltd (previously axsana AG) on 30 September 2022 (see News). The close partnership with the operating company enables processes and technology to be standardized. This creates more scope for investment in the EPR’s future, which is equally beneficial to both the general public and to service providers such as hospitals, medical practices, outpatient doctors, care-at-home organizations and nursing homes.
